589 Issuance of a certificate for the presence or absence of data
- Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Agency (GCCA) issues a certificate for presence or absence of data in all cases of certification of data, which are contained or can be created on the basis of the data in KKKR and in specialized maps and registers, or data for the indicated objects are missing.

To request the service electronically you must have a registration in the Cadastral-Administrative Information System (CAIS).
There are two ways of electronic application for registered users in KAIS:
- WITHOUT electronic signature, as the final result can be obtained at the counter or by courier service at the expense of the applicant;
- With a qualified electronic signature - if the application is signed with an electronic signature, it is possible that the final result will be obtained in the form of an electronic document in the personal profile.

Form and manner of requesting the service
The application is submitted through the web portal for online services KAIS (registration in the portal is required) or at the regional GCCA office (RGCCAO) selected by the applicant, regardless of the location of the property. The application through KAIS for registered users is done in two ways: WITHOUT electronic signature, as the final result - a paper document can be obtained only at the counter; With electronic signature - the application is signed with a qualified electronic signature and the final result is an electronic document received in the personal profile of the applicant in CAIS. When ordering a service at the counter, the application is filled in electronically by an employee of RGCCAO - no pre-filled application is required.
This service can be requested and received by any person, regardless of whether he is the owner of the property or not. At the counter, the service may be received by a person other than the applicant only if indicated by the applicant when requesting the service or authorized by the applicant.
The certificate for presence or absence of data contains:
- data on the requested objects (location, origin, accuracy, type, format, source, content) or lack of data on them;
- characteristics for the requested sites.
Issued for:
- certification of data contained in the cadastral map and cadastral registers;
- to fill in data for tax return and others.

The certificate is received by the user of the service in the way chosen in the application:
- on the spot, in the center for administrative service of administrative unit office;
- by courier service at the expense of the applicant;
- in the profile of a registered user in KAIS - portal, as an electronic document;
- Through the Secure Electronic Service System (SЕSS).

Payment
A fixed fee is paid for the service depending on the type:
For ordinary service BGN 20
For fast service BGN 40
In case the service is requested and received electronically (requested with a qualified electronic signature), the service fee is reduced by 30%.
The service fee is prepaid. The term for performance of the service starts running after payment of the due state fee.
